

40 years ago the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes (The WHO Code) was adopted by the 34th World Health Assembly.
But what exactly is the Code? In its most basic description, it is regulation to protect, support and promote breastfeeding. But there are many more layers to it than that.
