*ONLINE* A plan for adjusting to life with your new baby
From the makers of The Breastfeeding Show podcast – a conversation about the early days with a new baby
Frances, Megan and Karen share their ideas and experience about settling into life with a new baby, coping with loss of sleep, and adjusting to your new role as a parent.
The days after a baby is born are a unique and special time with each family having its own specific worries, challenges and situations. We want to help new parents to think in advance about what resources they may be able to use to manage their individual situations. This can make the adjustment time more relaxed and allow them to actually focus on their baby and even enjoy this period.
Attendees will take from the session:
Practical tips and approaches that expectant parents and those who work with them can adapt to make into a realistic and usable plan for the early days.
Suggestions for how to maximise rest for everyone in the family.
Ideas about how mothers can nurture themselves and be nurtured by others at this time.
Strategies about how the family and community can be supportive and helpful.
All Sessions will have the option to receive a certificate of attendance – a minimum donation of £10 is requested
